the world did not come to an end when former slaves were allowed to legally contract marriage between one another (as they were formerly only allowed only what would now be referred to as only the religious ceremony). the world did not come to an end when interfaith marriages were happening, nor when interracial marriages happened.

the only thing that's different? people have a new "evil" to scream about. wait till the polyamorists get up in arms, and people realize that WOMEN want to have as many HUSBANDS as they wish! ;)

it's a wonderful day. DOMA got struck down, and so did the anti-abortion bill in texas.

Looks like the Texas issue will resurface as Gov. Perry is calling another special session. Stupid is an awful difficult force to stop.

ohhh i know. perry is being a voice to evil on this matter, and i'm QUITE certain that if the women of texas were angry before, he doesn't stand a chance now...nor does his lap-puppy who arranged the timestamp on the official vote to be changed from 12:01 to 11:58.

funny thing is, the livestream shows the REAL time of the vote...and the FBI has been informed of the illegal change of a government document. felony, don't ya know. pity that. *eyeroll*

(if it wasn't obvious, i'm one of the angry texas women. *G*)

Tony Perkins can read the writing on the wall. But he and his ilk have a stake in this because they make their living off of other people's fears. And so the fear mongering continues.

Their dire predictions get more and more ridiculous and more and more people see clearly the crazy.

It still irks me that these folks are even given a voice in mainstream media. CNN pits a psychologist and a guy with an opinion against each other and calls it "fair reporting."
