There was a story some months back about a company actually putting a "user forfeits his immortal soul" in an online user agreement (presumably) as a joke, and almost nobody catching it.

Very clever! Have you seen The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus? I wasn't fond of the movie itself but conceptually it intrigued me a lot and this did for the same reasons.

I do like the Devil!

I know nothing about "Dr. Parnassus" except that the title and the visual style of the movie from its ads looked like something I might like.

Yep. And as I crafted the story in my head he got eviller and eviller -- but it's that subtle evil he didn't even realize he possessed (till now)
