Yesterday was a good day

Here's hoping iballs2entrails  had a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sunday!

It was also the 18th anniversary of the day the_dark_snack  and I met; we've been together most of the time since. We got to celebrate by seeing "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" performed by a local dinner theatre. It was very good, and funny and touching, and y'all really should see a production of it

One of the theatres here is doing Putnam next season.

Aside from being a great show, they always pull four audience members onto the stage to play spellers, which just adds to the fun. See it if you can!

I could not find the clip last night, but years ago someone posted one of Julie Andrews in Putnan. She misspelled 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' and I *think* dropped an f-bomb.

Man, I would have LOVED to have seen that!

Dark Snack and I have our own odd Julie Andrews story. One morning years ago, the clock radio alarm came on to what was apparently Ms. Andrews singing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" "Heere we aahre now, ENTERTAIN US!" Woke us right up.

Congratulations on the anniversary! I think it's important to celebrate things like that. The Bear and I celebrate our first date on 3 August 1998.
