We've been seeing a lot of stuff at BAM lately, and its been either super-awesome or...not. We saw a couple of the ones you saw last year. But that is a TON of shows for just two months. I'm totally jealous but you've inspired me to make a list of what I saw last year.
I agree about Equus - Griffiths owns the show. Radcliffe seems like he's trying too hard to ACT instead of being in moment, but he's young and he's learning. Overall I liked it.
We were lucky enough to see Osage County with the original cast in it's first Broadway house (next door) the week before it won the Pulitzer. It was the best thing I saw in all of last year, hands down, and is the first thing I recommend for anyone wanting theater right now. I am curious to see what it's like with the new cast.
I've heard that Hedda Gabler is God-awful from multiple people, so steel yourself for that one.
yeah, i don't know if you and hedda are tdf members, but i saw all this stuff for $40 or less. seeing as she's a dance instructor i bet she could get a "performing arts professional" membership.
