(Consider this a placeholder while I attempt to write a proper review. Also, consider this acknowledgement that even though I missed posting about 9.04 last week, I loved it for all the reasons everyone else loved it, and also because it was fucking excellent.)

I - THIS SHOW. I'M JUST - IT'S RIDICULOUS.

But I loved it. LOVED it. Complete YES to everything you've said. Embrace the insane. (And in answer to your question, yes, the water was steaming, I thought it was going to be very hot, I squirmed.)

Ruth, continue with your second-in-commandment. It's fantastic.

Lucas! You are not the bomb expert! Leave that to Tariq and Dimitri! Irk.

Dimitri - I... I actually love him. A lot.

Also, was 9.04 not excellent as well? I hope all this Lucas shit is going somewhere mighty explosive (Vaughn! Is Michael! Is using Maya to pull Lucas in! I could have predicted something like it, but their lives suck, yo).

So glad you are enjoying the ride also!

Dimitri was pretty cute this episode. I was even kind of impressed at the snappy way they worked some backstory into the plot without making it sound too much like exposition. And his face when it was Anna, awwwww. Considering he is supposed to be the hardened soldier it really says something about everyone else on the grid that he can do the hurt-and-disappointed face at the end.

I really hope he did go and get a skinful, and that he took Beth and/or Tariq with him.

9.04 was really great! I kept meaning to post about it but I had notime last week, and any post would basically have consisted of me going !!!!! about every single person. I don't know why I'm getting excited about Ruth's grid-skillz this week after she was so ace in the field last week!
