Oh, I love it! Very bittersweet and I love Ruth's bit of busines, coupled with fumbling around for the umbrella. And the Doctor not knowing which city he's in. And it's a killer of a last line.

I told you, one day, in the dim and distant future, I do have a First Doctor and Ruth one planned out, set in GCHQ days. I suspect I might need to find out at least something about GCHQ first. :-)

Perfect. :D I love that nine is so raw and new. And Ruth it not quite a field agent, but she's getting there. :( It's very sad, all those might have beens. :)
