Awwwww! I love the idea of Lucas and Malcolm on the Eye!!!

(I was pretty sure Lucas's parents were dead, though. Something in "He was a good father" in 7x06.)

Oh, I missed that line... not in my head, anyway :)

Thanks!

It's the episode with Dean, the kid who tries to sell the electric-shorting weapon. When they're in the safe house, Lucas says he "grew up in the middle of a Cumbrian field" and his father "was a minister." ("What, like government? - No, like Methodist. - What's that?", & you can see in Lucas's eyes - LOVE Richard Armitage TO BITS - his double-take at the kid's ignorance.)

Definitely didn't miss that scene - it's one of my favourites. Heeee, I love the "what, like government?" I just didn't take the "was" to mean his father was necessarily dead... I needed something positive!

This. BRILLIANT. Like, I am sitting here with my knees to my chest hugging myself, making strange noises. I've never really thought about what Malcom and Lucas would be like together, in this sense, and this makes it so believable and perfect and I want this to be real.

Lucas looks indignant. "Goodness no, Malcolm. I'm suggesting we act like tourists and children."
Ahahahahahahaha, oh my God.

Well done!

Thank you! Wow, I'm delighted my writing had that effect, although sorry if I upset you! *hugs you and your knees*

I really cannot get enough of Malcolm and Lucas. The scene with the doughnuts was just too lovely for words. :) Thanks again for your kind comment.

This is marvellous, marvellous. Really.

And this: Once I thought I was going to die, but it was just Adam appeasing his god-complex.

*grins* Why don't we get scenes like this on the show? There was a time, once, when we might.

You should definitely ask for prompts more often. :-D

Thank you!

I know I know, those little scenes, I miss them - one of my favourites from the early series is when Tom breaks in to Zoe and Danny's apartment and is sitting on the couch getting drunk. And the teapot vodka. I do love the teapot vodka...

I think I have more than enough prompts to last me to the next series at least, but I'll definitely ask for more if I run out!

Yes, and "Is Earl Grey tea bags married?" - that sort of stuff was fun. I also like gossip on the grid, which we haven't had much of for a long while, either. (Is it 2.6 where the rumour runs round that someone's going to be fired as a subplot?)

Oh yes yes, more gossiping! Although really, who is there left to gossip now? MORE CHARACTERS PLS. AND MORE MUNDANE SUBPLOTS PLS.

Still grinning!

If i'd known it would have this effect, prompting you, I'd do it more often.

I have a great weakness for drunk spies, it turns out.

(PS. You didn't ask all tha time? The SL is Hercules and the hydra, here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lernaean_Hydra - the heads, you see!)

Thanks! Oh me too. I particularly like your drunk Jo telling Adam she'll never sleep with him. *g* If you ever feel the need for prompts yourself, just let me know...

OH, and there were even Hydra references in the story... IT ALL FALLS TOGETHER. Yay.

This is wonderful! There needs to be a lot more Malcolm-POV fic: Harry may be the heart of Section D, but Malcolm is...I don't know...the nervous system, maybe.

He wonders if he is standing in for Tom Quinn, or even Tessa - just a thread holding Lucas to his former life. But he is moved by how much Lucas remembers about him; his hobbies, his family. As if he spent at least part of those eight years contemplating their friendship.

That's lovely. Both heartwarming but kind of sad at the same time!

Thank you! Hahaha, if Harry is the heart he is a bitter and twisted one. I love the idea of Malcolm as the nervous system! *g*

Yes, there really does need to be more Malcolm fic. Feel free to add to the quota. :) :) :)
