my poor beat up, fugly car is on its last legs and i am trying to save for a new one.
and by new, i mean "new to me". which of course means the same thing could happen to me.
i have pumped a few thousand dollars into repairs because i couldn't afford to get a new one.
if you can afford it, i would highly recommend it.
don't throw any more cash into the money pit.

i will pray for you to have wisdom to know what to do. i know you are struggling with this. $1600 is nothing to sneeze at, but the unknowns that come with another car are the same unless you get a brand spanking new one. (which is still no guarantee, but IF you can easily afford it would be fun since you've never had that)
i just wish i could fix it for you

I *have* heard that the only good Ford vehicles out there are the trucks, though. How awesome would that bee, to see you drive up in an F150 or something? Now THAT would be hot. ;-)
