I've been such a slacker as of late about posting. Sorry to anyone who has missed me. Here's what's been up in the last few weeks.

First of all, Thanksgiving was lovely. I had my maternal family over in an effort to reinstate the tradition we had growing up. I had 15 people for dinner and an additional 4 for dessert. Needless to say, the house was ( Read more... )

Congrats on the laptop ^__^ Glad all of the waiting worked out.

I feel your pain on the meds. Mine were upped recently, and even tho the first few days were awesome, I am back to feeling unmotivated and uncreative. The one med that does make me feel more myself, when upped, raises my blood pressure significantly. The dark thoughts linger, but they don't get near the depths of true depression. I am thinking that exercise is the answer if only I could get motivated enough to be consistent. BAH!

Would you put me on the evite for the BPAL meetup? I don't have any, but I would love to attend. If even for being 'social'. ^__^

HUGS!

I am going to dragon con again, and signed up with Atlanta-HP to get discount tickets. If the costume guys want to use me as a victim, I am game. I get manic about cleaning during that time of the month, which is good because I can focus that effort on gloves. I got sick a week or so ago, it turns out I dropped a few pounds and I am now under 170. That never happens to me...

I bought my ticket at con. :P

Do you have a list of costumes yet? Are you still interested in corsetry? If so, I and a couple other fiends can help you in that area.

I have 11 projects! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I am going to try facial appliances, and I need a lot more sewing experience before I have the nerve totackle a corset. I have the victorian blouse from hell to try too. ;D Not to mention making a huge ass hat to support 3 vultures. hehe

Corsets are surprisingly easy to construct. It's the fitting part that's the devil. I use the Truly Victorian pattern, and it's quite straightforward.

I'm just curious about what hat needs 3 vultures!

Sounds good. The only afternoon I can't make it ever is Mondays because of symphony rehearsals. But T-F afterwork is just fine with me. I'm going to go tonight and reactivate my membership. :)
