He transfers to a new private co-ed school and soon despises the popular jock, Choi Minho. Minho hates Taemin as well and finds out the dancer's secret. He decides to use it as blackmail which makes Taemin hate him more. But what happens when hate turns to love?
A/N: I had a hard time writing this. Sorry, my grandfather passed away so it's recently been hard for me. I included mostly flashbacks in here. So you can understand how Key knew Taemin was a guy at first sight.

"He loved you. You were a great hyung to him and because of your stubborn-ness, you refuse to remind him after all of these years. He went through an accident, Onew. He doesn't remember you because the family refuses to tell him about you."
Jinki widened his eyes and turned away. It wasn't easy. He had hurt Taemin's heart once, he didn't want to hurt him again. He knew that Taemin didn't remember him when they first met. He looked so happy being with them. He kept my distance away from Taemin, afraid that Taemin's heart would break if he suddenly remembered Jinki. He didn't want that to happen.
"I know you don't want him to get hurt. But, he'll understand. He's a good kid like that," Kibum said, as if he read his mind. "Taemin will trust you. He'll want to love you and cling to you more, hyung. He'll cry tears of happiness for you. He'll treat you like he has treated you before your father kicked you out."
"But it's not easy to tell him. Whenever I try, something gets in the way," Jinki cried out. "I love him as my dongsaeng, Kibum. I want him to be happy without me as his actual hyung."
"He'll be much happier if you just admit it, hyung. I have been with you ever since the first graders tripped both of us and we told the teacher, crying, on the first day of kindergarten. I'll still be with you now. We'll cry together as best friends. We'll stick together." Kibum held Jinki's hand.
Jinki smiled at him. He had been the second brightest thing in his life besides Taemin. He had fallen for Kibum at one time during first year in high school. But he gave up once he found out Kibum had been infatuated with their other best friend, Jonghyun, who they met a year after they met. Jinki knew Kibum had truly loved Jonghyun. He looked over at Jonghyun, who had a lonely look on his face and watched the rehearsal by himself. Jinki smiled at himself.
Both of them were so lucky.
Taemin and Minho continued to perform their best. It was finally time to do the final scene. The two walked onto the stage, their hands intertwined and they acted to talk about anything and nothing. Taemin smiled and rested his head on Minho's shoulder. Minho smiled down on Taemin.
"I'm sorry for leaving you like that, Chunhyang," Minho acted out his line, fixing Taemin's red ribbon.
"I have suffered through torture, doryeon-nim. But being here without you have made me suffer the worst," Taemin said his line perfectly. His feminine voice had the perfect amount of gentleness. He turned to Minho. "Never leave me again, doryeon-nim. Don't make me suffer with your absence."
"I'll never leave you ever. Even if I'm far away, the sky is always connected." Minho leaned down on one knew and gently planted a kiss on the back of Taemin's hand. He stood up and laced both their hands. "I love you, Chunhyang."
Minho leaned down and kissed Taemin. He nearly smiled at the fact Taemin was kissing back, despite it being required today. He could feel his body melding along with Taemin's. They perfectly fit each other without any awkwardness. His heart beat faster than usual. He could feel Taemin's increasing its speed. could hear the shining trio whooping and cheering in support. But he mentally widened his eyes as he suddenly saw in his head, the same couple from his dreams laughing together and kissing. They seemed so happy together. Was this really Seungho and Minsuk? Or was it him and Taemin? He couldn't tell. They parted and bowed to the front of the stage. The heads of the family clapped. Taemin walked to his dressing room alone.
Taemin closed the door behind him and slowly slid himself down against the floor, his back facing it. He sat on the floor in silence. He unclipped the ribbon from his hair and clenched it in his hand before dropping it. He put his hand over his fast-beating heart. He couldn't believe how nice the kiss felt to him. He felt himself slowly dissoving most of his hate away and replacing it with love. Was this how falling in love felt like?
Plus the vision he saw... he recognized the people as Seungho and Minsuk according to the scrolls of ancient portraits he looked at. They looked exactly like Taemin and Minho. Were Minho and he the reincarnations of them like Minsuk wished? Were they really destined to be together and share the same happiness as Seungho and Minsuk did?
Taemin felt like the new information was going through his mind too fast.

"Hyung! Hyung!" Young seven-year old Taemin quickly trotted over to his nine-year old hyung in happiness. He hugged Jinki tightly and clung to his sleeve. "Onyu hyung~ I missed you so much! Umma said it was only for one day, but it felt like forever!" Jinki smiled solemnly in contrast to his cute dongsaeng's bright smile. He ignored his father's cold hateful stare.
"It's Onew actually, Taemin," their mother sweetly corrected her youngest son. Jinki was about to open his mouth to protest but closed it once she turned to Jinki. "How was your day, Onew ah?"
"O-Oh," he awkwardly answered. "Good, I guess. Heechul hyung was nice to me and we played a lot with our other cousins at the main house. The main head just wanted to remind me that I should be following the tradition like the other boys," He rubbed his other arm that Taemin wasn't clinging onto.
"Exactly. Why can't you follow the tradition like Taemin and the others do?You're ruining this tradition. Do you not want to be pure in your blood?" His father raised his tone in each sentence. Jinki darted his eyes down to the floor sadly.
"Jinsu ah," the two's mother firmly called, glaring at their father. "Jinki may be the first to break that tradition but he's still part of the Lee family."
"Taesoon ah," their father looked at their mother and sighed. "Jinki has refused to dress or be raised as a girl, he's not even born with the condition, he trips over everything and anything, and seems to have no talents. Why should I continue to consider him my eldest son?"
Jinki felt Taemin gripping onto his shirt tightly. The dongsaeng looked up at his hyung with sadness and innocence. Jinki merely smiled and kissed him on the forehead. As they walked outside to play, their parents continued to silently argue over Jinki.
"Will you leave, Onyu hyung?" Taemin suddenly asked.
"Why do you ask, Minnie?" Jinki tilted his head in confusion.
"Appa doesn't seem to like you and might ask you to leave. I don't want you to leave."
"I won't leave," Jinki promised. But he's not sure if he'll keep that promise.
"Don't leave. Because I know something will happen to me and make me forget you. I don't want to forget you. I just know it. Please, Onyu hyung," Jinki was surprised at the tears in Taemin's eyes. The boy was really sensitive. "I don't want to forget."
Jinki held his hand and smiled. Taemin stopped his tears once his hyung wiped them away. "I won't leave. Even if I leave, I'll come back to see you."
That gave Taemin the brightest smile on his face, a few tears still at the corners of his eyes. "Anyways, did you see me after school? I met a new friend! He was in another class, but he became friends with me. He's really nice and likes to play with me. He never tells me his name though.... so I don't tell him my name in return," He crossed his arms. Jinki chuckled.
"Well, I'm glad you actually made a guy friend. I became worried when you came home with a bunch of girl friends."
"I have to act like a girl so I can get better at dancing. Plus those girls were cute," Taemin gave him a grin.
"... Don't grow up too much, Taem," Jinki ruffled Taemin's hair affectionately.

"When will you really tell him? I'm getting worried about you, Onew. I may be a year younger than you but I care about you. Our third grade year is nearly ending and you still won't follow your family's tradition," Kibum took a swig out of his can of soda, looking at Jinki. They sat behind the fence of the rooftop of their school during recess. Jonghyun casually had an arm around Kibum's waist, chugging down the soda. Jinki sighed, crumpling the soda can. They watched Taemin playing soccer with the boy he described earlier. Kibum scowled at the boy accidentally brushing his hand against Taemin's skirt. "I can't believe Minho doesn't even know they're the same person."
"I don't know. Every time I talk to my dad, we end up arguing. Sooner or later, he'll disown me and I'll have to find another family," Jinki threw the soda can at a girl's head. He smiled once the girl whined and glared up at him. "You know, Sunjung's kinda cute."
"Yeah, if you like the strict smart type. Ew. She can be so icky sometimes," Jonghyun spoke up.
"Oh, come on. She's not that bad. We baked chocolate chip cookies together in that cooking class we had to take this year. She nearly hit me with a spatula though," Kibum defended.
"Oh, those cookies were good."
Jinki was about to retort but gulped once he noticed one of the teachers hovering over them. All three of them whined as they were all dragged by the ear to the principal's office.

"I can't believe you!" Their father threw down his papers while their mother just quietly sits there with a solemn look on her face. "You even went up the roof of your school?! I told you not to hang out with those two! One of their families are performing rivals to our musicals!" He yelled. Jinki looked down then at his mother. His mother glanced back and looked at him as if there was nothing she could do for him. She knew his father was stronger than her, and if she protested, she'd die in his anger.
"So, who cares? It's your fault for giving me a lower education anyway! You sent Taemin ah off to school a year early, while you sent me a year late!" Jinki couldn't help but yell back.
"It's not my fault you're not as successful as Taemin! You're much different from the boys in our family. You even trip a lot. You're even refusing the family tradition. You're giving you and your mother a bad reputation."
"Well, I don't want to dance like the others! That's exactly it. I don't want to become like the others," Jinki paused once he noticed a small figure shifting as he peeked through the crack of the door. Taemin... He smiled to himself. "I want to be myself."
"Yourself?! Ha! You can't succeed as yourself, Onew. If only you were just like Taemin."
"Taemin Taemin Taemin... you only care about his success, appa. I don't even want to consider you as my appa."
"That's it! Get out of my house. You are no longer my eldest son. Get out. Never come back."
"... Fine."
And that one word broke Taemin's small heart.

Jinki's slightly long hair blew in the spring breeze as he secretly watched Taemin cry into Minho's shoulder, sobbing about how his only hyung ran away. The other glanced down at him sadly, wanting to do something to stop him from crying. Jinki solemnly smiled as Minho shot up and grabbed onto Taemin's hand, dragging him to the park to play while insisting on buying him ice cream. The other looked clueless but smiled sadly. Kibum sighed and looked at Jinki in pity.
"I asked my parents. They're really close friends with one of the other wealthy families who would be happy to take you in," Kibum handed him a piece of chicken.
"Thanks, Key. I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't know you," Jinki sighed, devouring the chicken anyways.
"Of course. You need me. Soon, as we continue school, I'll be the mother to all of you guys. Minho, Jonghyun, you, and maybe Taemin afterwards probably. I just know it. And I'll have fun doing so," Kibum smiled.
Jinki laughed and murmured, "You'd be a great mother, Key."
"I know right?!"
"Hmm... I just hope Taemin's going to be happy-" Jinki widened his eyes and stood up. The diva-in-training looked up at him questioningly.
"What is it, Onew hyung?" Kibum finally brought his attention to what Jinki was scared of and gasped.
Minho was quickly running over to Taemin, his already-big eyes getting wider. Taemin took swift steps in running towards the rollaway ball going into the streets. He picked it up with his small hands and looked around. He spotted Minho trying to run towards him and he looked at one side of the street. He widened his eyes and dropped the ball, as a car drove towards him. Minho screamed and covered his mouth. Jinki and Kibum widened his eyes is horror. Kibum quickly dialed 911 on his phone.
"M-Minho..."
Crash.
