I can make recommendations of things you need to eat while you're there...mostly it's In-N-Out Burger and authentic Mexican food.
Be sure you make a trip up to Hillcrest when you're in San Diego, because there's a dessert place called Extraordinary Desserts that, well, has extraordinary desserts. :)
I don't know if you've been to Las Vegas, but boy howdy, is it ever ridiculous. I have fewer recommendations for there, but The Fiance and I went to the Atomic Testing Museum last March and it was pretty darn cool.
Ooooh, I went to In-N-Out burger just near the Kodak Theatre/Mann's Chinese Restaurant. THat place was gooood.
Ooooh, Extraordinary Desserts sounds good!
hahahaha, I was just about to start this sentence with Ooooh :P The Atomic Testing Museum sounds really interesting. I'll have to see how it fits into the schedule, closer to when we're there. I went to the Star Trek Experience at the LV Hilton, that was really fun! I'd love to spend a bit more time there exploring, I think.
*squeeeeee* I'm so pleased about it! Ever since I got into fandomy goodness, I've wanted to go, and this is such a great idea. I don't have to stress about planning, just rock up and go!
