So a couple of days ago I received a fortune cookie that said "Time is of the essence; Make the best of it while you can." At first I was like "Oh, ok..." and just put it behind me. On Friday we seniors received our Caps, Gowns, Stoles, and Tassles and we also took our group photos. It was an emotional day, but a good one as well. It was so weird ( Read more... )

Damn you Bekah!!! You just had to go and say something about your grandmother and that got me goin, sheesh. Neither of my grandparents saw my graduation, only my mom's mom did. ((By the way I never got to say goodbye either, so..)) Now you see how I was last year when graduating. Just wait til its your last actual day at school cause it will feel so weird to know that never again will you step in that school building as a student.

my mom's parents didn't get to see me graduate and i never got to say goodbye to either of them either..i know it's not like none of my grandparents got to see me graduate, because my dad's parents did and i'm very thankful for that and i'm very thankful they're still alive, even as hard as it is to see my grandma struggle everyday with her parkinsans and see it progress day to day.

i'm proud of you bekah, i think i can say that for all of us. i love you little sister.
