It always made Yeaung suspicious when she started any conversation by telling him not to get angry. But he also had vast experience and if she were already at secret keeping time, he knew there was nothing he could do except damage control. Or eat one of her little hanger-ons, which always made her upset.
He looked into his coffee mug and wondered if this was one of those times he needed to ration every drop of caffeine he had. He shook his head, took a deep breath, and hoped he sounded foreboding instead of wary.
Uwah! Yesung had his dark look in his eyes. He was going to eat somebody if she wasn't careful. She wondered if more coffee was going to be a bad idea or a good idea. She flicked a look at Kitty von Catcat, who washed a paw at her. "You are no help," she told the cat, washing dishes with no hands while she went to get the coffee for Yesung.
"And I didn't do anything!" Not much. "Not much! See, see, Aiba-chan was away and I have this friend named Kazunari and you don't know him and I lost him for a long, long, long time and then I found him and he lived in the museum and it was cold and lonely so I put him over the shop in Aiba-chan's empty apartment and, okay, there's been not so great stuff around and maybe I'm thinking of talking to him about that but I haven't and mostly I just think 'oh, no, what if Aiba-chan realizes I rented out his room'."
Well. "I didn't charge rent, though, so that's not bad and I think, think, think that Kazunari is with Meisa-chan now but what if he's not really and then Aiba-chan wants

Should she pretend she doesn't know anything? Yesung sighs and takes another gulp of his coffee. "What will you say when Aiba-chan asks how you didn't know one of your friends was literally right over head?"
Really, he's just glad she didn't try to bring this Kazunari home like she did everyone else in the world. He was always telling her they didn't have space for that policeman or that homeless guy, or once that vampire. Maybe she did listen once in a while.
"When is Aiba coming home? We'll just have to find somewhere for Kazunari before then." And not at the Jade Palace.
Yesung had a good point. "Aiba-chan doesn't know Kazunari, I don't think. He's...he's a little bit shy, Kazunari-kun. I had to coax him out, you know, on the ship. When we came here. And then I had to practically draaaaaaaaaag him to Come Again." Did that sound bad? "I promise I didn't force him! We have fun together wearing museum clothes and using the things there. We're friends!" Yeah, but that was off the topic
