The meeting with his mother had left him thinking. Thinking about life, about his family and especially about Nino. He knew he needed to talk to him, but how... how did he bring it up? How could he say "Hey, my mom wants me to dump you and move home, oh and she's going to disown me if I don't."? Everything about this seemed wrong, all of it. The thought of leaving his father in a bind, the though of never being able to see his home or his family again.
The thought of leaving Nino behind. That...that hurt, deep.
Ohno sat on their couch, wringing his hands as he went over it all in his head again. He needed space to think, to figure things out.
To see if he could really survive without Nino.
