Occupation: Shun works several part-time jobs in between freelance modeling in an attempt to build a portfolio.
Character History: Shun is not as old as he could be and yet is constantly reminded that he's not as young as he once was. Born in the Hira Mountains of Japan, Shun has been around long enough to remember fondly the days when sanctimonious priests on pilgrimage were the object of much amusement and mischief (though he'd deny it if ever confronted). Time, however, has moved on. The only people that travel through the forested paths are spectators and the truly devout. While their admiration is charming, it has left Shun feeling restless and without a sense of purpose

Occupation: Intern at his family's hotel chain.
Character History: He was born 1850 during the fall of Edo. As a small child, he experienced what war could do to a great civilization. Not only did he witness such turmoil, but he also was able to see japan rise to its prime with the Meiji period. That time period between Edo and Meiji was the worst of his life even though the war took the spotlight off the demons and spirits of the region for a good while. It was the best time for him to exist. Being a child in that time oddly enough was very safe if you were a spirit like him. As soon as he was born, however, he found a body to inhabit; an infant's body. He stayed in that body until it died from illness 32 years later. And this continued on, the body possession thing. However, back then it was easier to find willing souls to give their body up. Tegoshi couldn’t just force someone out

One thing you might want to limit is the 'accented'. Ryo's in the same boat somewhat so it's just implied most of the time. :)

Race: Human, though it's possible he may stretch the truth of that on occasion.
Occupation: Fortune teller! (And maybe a bit of swindler.)
Character History: Kawai's history will change every single time he tells it to you. The story he likes to tell most often is that he was orphaned as a child and raised himself out on the streets. It was rough, because he'd only been seven at the time, but he'd made it through with a bit of perserverence. He's not sure why, but his mother had always told him to keep away from the authorities, so he had, even though he knows he could have been adopted out and raised in a house that had blankets and heat and food on the table instead of street alleys and old pizza crusts and clothes he'd found thrown out. It made him tough, though, so now he can't complain
