In one of the Christopher Lee/Hammer Horror films, Dracula is buried in the ice and is raised from the dead when human blood trickles down and into his mouth.
Vampire lore says that the head has to be removed from the body, the heart pierced with a stake, and the neck stuffed with garlic. The heart has to be burnt to ashes. So I suppose, if Herrick's body was all nicely laid in a grave together, he could come back (with the help of several pints of blood).
Clearly, after dispatching Herrick, someone didn't check up on their Big Book of Vampire Lore! DOH!
I saw Herrick being brought back coming since someone (I think it was either George or Nina) commented that all the bits of him had been moved. I was hoping that maybe Seth hadn't died from when Lauren staked him and he would be the one doing the raising. Oh well.
I tend to agree with miserychick2606 at the age based assumption, even though I think it's a bit of horrible cliche to have a revolving door in supervillain hell. This just goes to prove the you really should dismember and burn all remains after killing a person. Apparently people just don't stay dead like they used too. ;-)
Was I the only one who was like WTF with the whole bleeding over a pile of bones thing? I would have been much more satisfied with some candles and chanting virgin sacrifice. It would have made more sense. And why would Daisy care about Herrick and not Ivan? Ivan's corpse was definitely in better shape, thus one would assume it would be a more likely candidate for resurrection.
