Why have I gone so long without doing an update on my series five opinions? I've no idea. Here that all is, then, for anyone interested.

Oh, you're watching America-time? I admire your self-restraint.

That said, I think you should reconsider your hatred of the last scene with Amy; I don't think it was out of character at all. It just reminded us how profoundly fucked up she is. This is the girl who went through four therapists, because she kept biting them. The girl who rationalized running away the night before her wedding, and who watches people cry and doesn't comfort them. Amy Pond is a very broken person, so while the scene IS upsetting, I think it's upsetting not because it's out of character, but because it's *in* character. She faced death, and a one-night stand was her coping mechanism. I find that profoundly sad.

And yes, you like Rory. Trust me on this.

I am, yeah; mostly because my Dad and I watch it together and it's awkward to try crowding around a laptop screen and manage to both hear the dialogue and comment to each other. Hahaha. We did watch ahead last week for the two-parter, but there was an unspoken rule that we didn't talk about it til we re-watched it tonight. Our relationship is a special one. :-p

You know, that actually makes a lot of sense and I hadn't thought of it that way. I've been really loving Amy for how she's passionate and snarky and kind of insane, but I hadn't really thought about how all those things tie together. You're right, though, and I know I've been a bit harder than is necessary on this series on the whole. Hm. I'll have to keep that in mind on a re-watch.

I am really looking forward to re-meeting Rory. He was the side character I got most excited about in The Eleventh Hour. :-)

From the Dalek rage to the jammy dodger, it was everything I'd been waiting for Matty's Doctor to be. Just lovely.

Angel Bob was made for the LULZ. Seriously.

I also think I'm in the camp of people who think the Doctor who runs off after River is not the same Doctor who "comes back" to ask Amy if she remembers what he said when she was 7.
Yeah yeah yeah, me too. I didn't pay attention to it in the beginning but I've rewatched it countless times so yeah, definitely something going on there. There's way too many continuity errors throughout this series to be mere coincidence (and judging from the fact that continuity has been pretty good in this show). I'd take into account that scene with wee Amelia in ep 1 hearing the sound of the TARDIS but we never saw what happened to her then. PLOT!

I'm much more appeased about smoochie smoochie time already. Did you see the wisdom of my new friend, above? Makes sense. I'm thrilled for new Rory. :-D

This is actually quite late for me to be getting a schedule! I had to register late, as a transfer. Normally we transfer for new classes with like a month to go in the current semester still. Nuts that it's so late for you! And man, please come take my geology for me. I am noooot as excited as you are. :-p

Hey, sometimes many students don't even get the classes they want proper even after the first week of term. We have a very weird bidding system that has a very weird timeframe. Don't ask me why.
