How does it always sneak up on me?

I've had lots of years in my life when the "spirit of the season" and the family time and church and all that mushy stuff was meaningful and special and needed. LOTS. But this year, I have kind of felt "above it all" for some reason. I love my family and adore my husband and animals and home and all that, but I was (up until tonight) perfectly
