Sorry it's not completely better.

A caution: too many steroid injections into the same site can mess you up. It depends on the dose and the site (and the doctor) but my doc said no more than three shots in a big joint (shoulder, hip, etc.). It can mask something degenerative. It's worth asking, and I'm sure they know what they're doing, but it's good to know.

Also, the good news, is that they can inject this thick lubricating gel between joints that have deteriorated (especially knees, but I think between lumbar vertebrae too), and it spaces and cushions. It's not permanent and has to be repeated, but again, it can bring some relief.

Good luck! I know it's hard to be patient when you want it to feel better this instant.
