Yay! Only a day into it and I can already feel progress happening! WooHoo! So, here's how I'm doing with the goals:

1. Stop the caffeine crutch. Yay! No caffeine yesterday, even though I had the car for a PT appointment, and it was in the *middle* of the morning, which meant I passed McDs and Tim Horton's at least twice. And, didn't lay on the ( Read more... )

yay good for you!

hey did anything ever come of the 'lets motivate each other' idea?

i know illumined suggested it, maybe we could have one goal per week? ie: unload/load the dishwasher or handwash dishes when needed daily.
and then the following week add another goal.
then everyone posts 'yay i did it' or 'doh i missed one day' and post a picture of your awesome clean counters?

or something like that :)

I love that idea! Did you wanna' create a new community for it or use our existing lj's? I think being held accountable is a great way to stay motivated. :)

Hmmm... "projectme" and "project_me" are taken (or used to be - I'm not willing to pay for a rename token). Any other ideas on a name?

woohoo for progress. sometimes writing about it makes me want to actually go DO IT. sometimes. ;)

but once you have it accomplished, it's much easier to keep up with! good luck!

Good for you! Fast Food is the Devil....have you seen the movie Food, Inc? Astounding.

And I'm impressed on the no caffeine thing! I cut cappuccinos from my usual 7x per week down to 1x, and the other days I just have tea. But the thought of giving it all up is frightening!

I've given it up before. The problem is staying off of it. Just a few days of having it puts me back on the train of needing, I mean, wanting it. :)
