Ugh. Packing.

It's amazing how indecisive I become when faced with the fact that I have to decide what I'll need in the next three weeks and pack the rest. Am I going to need those hair products, or can I start packing up my bathroom now? Which jeans will I be in the mood to wear, and what shoes will go with them

I hate packing. I always start with books because they're easy, and some other things (like glasses and china) can be organized in a simple way, too, but by the end I always end up with some boxes of just random stuff. I lose all direction after packing the books.

And now I'm in the process of unpacking, which I'm also bad at. And part of the problem is that I need to do a little adjusting to my bookshelves, but I need my dad's help, and my parents have been in Japan for three weeks. And I can't organize my closets until I've bought shelves to fit in some of them, and I've been having trouble finding appropriate shelves. So my house right now is just a disaster.

At least the kitchen is in order.

Just knowing how close you are to getting to be in the same country as Colin has got to make this a bit easier.
