I'm tired, but now that I've got my computer open and am doing the little online things that I haven't done all day, I'm less ready to fall asleep than I was about half an hour ago, when I was leaning on Colin's shoulder and in grave danger of falling asleep standing up in the kitchen ( Read more... )

The bouquet stayed in one piece, unlike Kat's wedding (and several other weddings I've been to) where it ended up being mauled to pieces by women trying to catch it.

Hee. The wedding I went to last month was note-worthy in that not a single woman made any move to catch the bouquet -- we all just stood there and calmly watched it fall to the ground. And then we argued over who it had landed closer to: "It's yours, Karen, that's right in front of you!" "But it's totally closer in distance to Jessica!"

I love your dress. Or I guess it might just be a top, since I can't see the bottom. Either way: shiny!

Thanks! It's a top; I wore it with a black skirt. I like it--it's good with jeans or a skirt, and it's just shiny enough to be dressy, but not so shiny that it makes me look like a disco ball. :)

One of my friends who was going for the bouquet, too, is getting married in 5 weeks, so the comment was made that perhaps my catching the bouquet didn't mean that I was going to get married next, since I won't beat her down the aisle, but maybe that I'd be the next to get engaged.
