The air this morning when I rode in was crisp and moist. The streets were still wet from the rain yesterday and my tires made that mesmerizing noise of water on pavement. That's sad. :( What happened to your bike - do you not have it anymore or are you just unable to ride it much?

i dont have it anymore, it got left behind in one of many moves and didnt have a way to transport it. i would love to have another and ride to work everyday but cant to that with liam, not safe and too cold for him most days (though i wouldnt mind as long as there wasnt ice/snow on the ground)

YAY! for biking to work!

And the colors of fall are certainly beautiful... very warm despite the chill in the air. Reminds me of tantra...

I've been biking to work since August and (to my great surprise) have been loving every minute of it. I thought I would just learn to tolerate biking (exercise not being my strong suit) and furthermore I thought I would loathe biking in the cold (you know how I am about cold...whiny). I was wrong on both counts. I love, love, love biking and the cold doesn't really bother me. I like the contrast between the cold wind on my face and the body heat/sweat. It rules.
