laza_burnz  left for Germany last Friday. I miss him but am doing ok.

Meanwhile, my own travel contemplations have concluded - flights are booked! I'm off to Europe on November 6th, back December 6th. Doing it at the end of his time there instead of in the middle means we get to fly back together. :)
