I'm pretty sure nothing I read is going to change my mind, though.

Several hours later Nora stood outside the library door, having paused just for a moment to summon up a bit of nerve.

She wasn't nervous about telling him her decision at all. She was slightly worried he'd try to change her mind again, or that he would refuse her because he felt it was the better option.

She took a deep breath to steady herself, then stepped through the door, clearing her throat loudly. "Doctor?"

No, he hadn't been pacing. Not pacing in the slightest.

Well...alright, he'd been pacing a little bit. But the groove in the floor was barely visible!

The Doctor almost jumped when Nora spoke, a small shocked look on his face. As if he'd expected her to never wish to see him again.

"N-Nora?" He cleared his throat and tried again, "I'm over towards the history section."
