yeah, but i still don't agree with him. i think he's right that bush is a known quantity & kerry is an unknown quantity. but i think we can guess at kerry's quantity & i don't like it. back in june one of my friends was telling me how important it is to vote for kerry to end the war in iraq. but kerry doesn't seem to be showing much committment to ending that war, & have we all forgotten about the sanctions that were in place throughout the clinton presidency?
everything phillips said about why he chose not to vote for so many years resonated with me so much more than his reasons as to why he is voting this year. i honestly do not believe that anyone stands a better chance under kerry than under bush, & even if they did, the whole system is still corrupt & oppressive & i want no part in it. so i'm still not voting. end of story.
