Because I am so, SO happy with my country right now. I think it's crashing down on me that there's hope...or something. Or maybe Palin really did just scare the shit out of me.I'm listening to McCain's concession speech and I'm seeing a glimpse of why I used to respect him (before he went all conservative crazy). He's always pushed for unity between the parties, and it was good to hear him keep that up. We need more Unity.

No, I didn't see Eddie Izzard's comments on CNN. How could I have missed them? I love him! I didn't even hear he was going to be on CNN, I feel like such a fail of a fan. What did he say? Any idea where I can find a video???

I did hear McCain's concession speech, however, and I think he took it well and very honorably. So, that's good, because I really don't like to think his name should be something evil and vile just because he's not, well, Obama.

I only saw the last 40 seconds of it the first time I saw it. I just liked that he pointed out he's not going to solve everything...but at least he's going to try.
