I had a nightmare last night, which rarely happens. Usually my dreams mostly just fall into the category of boring...sometimes WTF?. But nightmares only happen about once a year. Nightmares that make me shoot up in bed gasping for breath (like every cliché nightmare on TV) happen never. This, in fact, is the only one I can ever remember doing that

Sleep paralysis is terrifying. It's only happened to me once but I thought that I was going to die because I couldn't breathe.

I'm surprised I don't have more nightmares. I'm an insomniac and I never fall into a super-deep sleep, I'm always kind of in the dream phase...but, luckily, they're mostly just really random.
