Happy Saturday, everyone!

I will edit in the GoodReads link when I figure out how to set up a thread over there (or until I make katayla do it for me), but until then, please use this for all your weekly book discussion needs.

Just a reminder, next Saturday will be our discussion of Kelley Armstrong's Bitten!

I'm still reading that John Katzenbach book I was already talking about last week, "What Comes Next". Didn't get much better but I'm not giving up. LOL

But I also started the Kelley Armstrong novel, so for the first time since I joined this comm I'll actually be able to participate in the discussion! YAY! \o/ Some people recommended it to me right before the poll for the July book went up. I took it as a sign. ;)

MISTBORN, GUYS.

I mean, I read The Cuckoo's Calling this weekend, and it was really good, but fantasy just... works better for me. IT WAS SO GOOOOOD. (Someone please tell me that the sequels are good, too? I'm kind of avoiding them at the moment.)

MISTBORN. IT IS AMAZING. It has some flaws - I don't think the philosophy/moral parts are integrated well, and I don't think Vin's identify conflict is as nuanced as it could have been, but overall: AMAZING.

And now I need to read The Young Unicorns! It has been a great reading week. (Well, except for my Little Lord Fauntleroy reread. *shudders*)
