Happy Saturday, people!

As a reminder: we're reading The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley this month. And, if you're interested, a sister comm of sorts, belovedbooks is running a Madeleine L'Engle reread that you should totally check out.

Also, libraries are evil, eight billionth verse same as the first.

Libraries ARE evil! Stop tempting me with books! I need to read more of the ones I own! (Um, but please use libraries, so I can keep my job!)

I mean, I do think authors should get paid more, but I'm not sure where that money could come from because I don't think readers should pay more.

DISCUSSION! I've been reading a lot of cheap (money cheap, not like, bad, though sometimes too) romance ebooks. Any recs for stuff under $5? I like sex scenes. (haha!)

Speaking of ebooks, I'm probably getting a kobo this week! I'm just super pissed at amazon, plus the kobo will allow me to read library books, and the amount of Quebec books on amazon is lackluster so it'd suck to be stuck with that. Does anybody have a kobo? Thoughts?

Also today was the book fair in my city and since it was snowing (:|) it was super packed, which was tiring, but I met a ton of authors and that's always great! I bought ten books, ooh boy.

Have you read any Loretta Chase yet? Amazon has several of her titles (including Lord of Scoundrels) that you should read for less than five bucks. And Rush Me, which is New Adult from Carina came out last week should still be less than five.

I know voleusedenuit has a Kobo and I think a lot of the same US/Canada problems will still exist from what I've heard her say, but library books would be a huge benefit. But I'm sure she'd be happy to answer any questions for you.

Alright, y'all need to read A Corner of White and then talk to me about it. Because my reaction to it is basically "that was good - but WHY?" It's so - strange/different/odd. All of those things.
