Happy New Year, everyone! Can't wait to check this one out of the library (maybe when I go to pick up the next of the Carnation series).
I'm still trying to come up with my book-related resolutions for 2011. This past fall I did a Jane Austen re-read that was wonderful (finally read Northanger Abbey along with the others). I think this year I'm going to re-read Anne of Green Gables. It's been FOREVER since I read those.
Right now I'm kicking off the new year with the Emily of Deep Valley books. As much as I adore Betsy-Tacy, I've never read the other three. I'll have those finished in a few days at the rate I'm going. Then I can start in on my next project, whatever that may be.
Oh! If you want to do a coordinated Anne reread, let me know. I've been dying to go back and reread them. I miss that world, especially after Yuletide and getting to read Anne fic.
OOOH! That would be awesome! I think it's been over ten years since I've read them, and I did notice the Yuletide fic (although I haven't had a chance to read them yet). Let's do it!
Yay! We should see if anyone else wants to do it, I think I'd talked about doing one with torigates awhile ago. I usually just reread my favorite parts, not the whole books, so doing this should be a lot of fun.
