Oh yes please! I just bought the second one since it was so cheap, so REALLY IT'S ABOUT TIME I TRY THIS.

The sales with these have been so weird! Because 1 and 3 were on sale simultaneously, but not two. I am hoping they will put four on discount soon, haha. If they do this for enough of them, I might actually pay pull price for the new one rather than get it from the library.

I just read your GoodReads comment! I didn't know or had forgotten book 3 was on sale. Should I buy that, too??? I don't know how far in advance I should really buy on a series I haven't read yet, but it's SUCH a good deal.

(I also don't know what to nominate! Heyer is my only idea so far, but, as fun as they are, I'm not sure they're suited for much discussion.)

It's too bad that we already did Persuasion! And that I also did LMM's The Blue Castle with another group. I'll go with a book that mostly works for the "neat" part:

1. Name of book. The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella
2. Small blurb about the book. Workaholic attorney Samantha Sweeting has just done the unthinkable. She’s made a mistake so huge, it’ll wreck any chance of a partnership. Going into utter meltdown, she walks out of her London office, gets on a train, and ends up in the middle of nowhere. Asking for directions at a big, beautiful house, she’s mistaken for an interviewee and finds herself being offered a job as housekeeper. Her employers have no idea they’ve hired a lawyer-and Samantha has no idea how to work the oven. She can’t sew on a button, bake a potato, or get the #@%# ironing board to open. How she takes a deep breath and begins to cope-and finds love-is a story as delicious as the bread she learns to bake. But will her old life ever catch up with her? And if it does…will she want it back?
3. Why this book ( ... )

1. Name of book. Chime by Franny Billingsley
2. Small blurb about the book. Briony has a secret. It is a secret that killed her stepmother, ruined her sister's mind, and will end her life, if anyone were to know. She has powers. Then Eldric comes along with his golden lion eyes and a great mane of tawny hair. He is as natural as the sun, and he treats her as if she is extraordinary. And everything starts to change . . . Chime is a haunting, brilliantly written novel that will stay with you--its magic, its romance, its world like none other.
3. Why this book is awesome. This is one of the books that I want to shove in people's hands and say, "READ IT" because it's hard to describe. That blurb doesn't do it justice. It's a coming of age story, it's historical fantasy, it's a love story, it's a family story. It has a VOICE. I just re-read my GoodReads review and I called it a complete story. Yes. It's that ( ... )
