1. Name of book: Heat Wave 2. Small blurb about the book: A New York real estate tycoon plunges to his death on a Manhattan sidewalk. A trophy wife with a past survives a narrow escape from a brazen attack. Mobsters and moguls with no shortage of reasons to kill trot out their alibis. And then, in the suffocating grip of a record heat wave, comes another shocking murder and a sharp turn in a tense journey into the dirty little secrets of the wealthy. Secrets that prove to be fatal. Secrets that lay hidden in the dark until one NYPD detective shines a light. 3. Why this book is awesome: Okay, I haven't read this, so I don't actually know that it's awesome. In fact, it probably isn't. And yes, it's that Richard Castle. But this is GUILTY pleasures month. So I say we truly embrace it and read something cheesy and horrible.
The President's Daughter category was definitely the first one I stalked and I was SO GIDDY to see that somebody wrote Meg/Preston this year. I loved it a lot.

Special Guests of the WHCA is Meg/Preston (The President's Daughter)! I got Meg/Preston! It's a lovely look at their relationship taking a shift.
And So, this is Christmas, Meg/Calvin (Madeline L'Engle), which just completely captures Meg and might be be personal canon for me now.
Haven't had a time to read much more yet!
