Okay, I'm devouring Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series. The first one is Slave to Sensation. They're paranormal romance, but have an OUTSTANDING plot. For those of you who know Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series, I've been calling them a more tightly plotted version of that. Another fun thing about them is they're futuristic paranormal romance. They start off set in 2079 and I'm up to 2080 now (on book 5). Also, it's the kind of paranormal world where the paranormal has always been a normal part of society, which is something I like. You have the changelings (shapeshifters. The main ones in the books--at least, of what I've read so far--are panthers and wolves, but there are lots of other ones. Deer! Rats! Snakes!), Psy (so people will all kinds of different mental powers) and human. And each book focuses on one couple, so you get a full romantic arc in each book, BUT. There's also an overreaching plot of how the world is changing and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Anyway, there are 10 books out so far, with (I believe) the ( ... )

There's that series by Ilona Andrews - can't remember if the first one is Magic Bites? Paranormal romance, but doesn't focus on a new couple in each book.

the Jessica Darling series are some of my favourite books. Second Helpings is the BEST.

I KNOW! I was like what is she doing up?? hahaha it's okay. The 4th and 5th are kind of shit compared to the first 2. Sad. But still good.

Am in the mood to read some Margaret Atwood - I've read 'The Handmaids Tale', 'Cat's Eye' and 'The Penelopiad' before but does anyone have any particular recs for where to go next?
