Wow it's been a long time coming, but Chapter 9 of Ignition is here... you know - if anyone's still reading since Revenge of the Fallen came out :)

Things have quieted down a bit recently which enabled me to put the final touches on it. It is in NO WAY how I originally intended it to be, but I still like it. Though it does come

I MISSED you. I'm so excited there's a new chapter, since I just love both stories, and you picked my favorite 'bot to work with on this new chapter, and it's awesome!

I really loved how went through Ironhide's calculations and thought processes and evaluations as he's driving toward Bumblebee. What an incredible chapter this is.

Yes, 'Hide's rather darker than we usually write him, but he's believable and strong and coherent and so very in-character to me. This is such a lovely chapter. Thanks, Atlantia, I'm so glad you wrote this.

nice to see some people have missed me lol.

And I totally agree about hide being dark in this chapter, but as I said in the notes, i think personally, i like to see a bit more of the bad side to the whole thing.

Ironhide has always been a strong character in the movie(s) but i wanted to say WHY he was. I mean it's easy to say "man that guys a real hardass" but I wanted to show people that there was a reason that all he thinks about is shooting things - because he doesn't want to think about anything else.

I missed you like the heat of million suns!....That was a terrible example. But that is why I don't write and leave that to you. So see, I get this ridiculous smile whenever I see that story updated. I won't spoil anything by revealing happy vs sad endings. maybe it'll be a little of both? lol

As for your question of what happened at the end, Bee was left behind by Sam and Sector 7 at the end of the last chapter, to stop Ironhide from following them.

Ironhide turned up and the end of the chapter is them starting to fight, where Bee has taken a shot at him and he dodged out of the way. Sam and Sector 7 are gone.

I JUST re-read it. Oooo I get it. Ironhide was the thing the Sector 7 guy wanted Bee to "take care of" for them. Gotcha. And next chapter epic battle fight! OH NO!
