Given what 'lubricant' from Bumblebee seems to be, I can guess why he didn't want it in his mouth.

What's weird with Bumblebee is how not only he clings to Sam and wants to protect him, but also wants to make very sure that Sam stays with Mikaela. Does he just think he's good for her or what?

And I would like to point out that this is the second movie that Megatron is pursuing Sam. There was the “you’ll be my pet” thing in the first movie and now then “Interrogation” in this movie that Megatron seemed to be enjoying *way* too much. So at the very least it looks like to me some one-sided Megatron/Sam going on here.
