I like the imagery of Sam's at the beginning - and the guy that helps him...a nice bit of levity in a dark tale.

Glad this is 1/2, where the hell's 2/2? Like, now?!

Jeez. Pretty dark, but wonderfully done. Raises a lot of questions and is very angsty. The humor in the middle from the guy that helps Sam was wonderfully done. Great job.

I love the diamond guy. He came out of nowhere and practically wrote himself.

I was going to wait until I had the second part finished before posting, but this comm has been so quiet lately, I thought I better contribute something soon. Hopefully part 2 won't take too long.
