Oh, lovely! Every paragraph was so descriptive, giving me a crystal clear image of a part of the world I've never seen. I could almost feel the weight of the humidity pressing me down, and see the misty mountians in the distance. Brava!

Loved the use of 'The London Bridge is Falling Down,' too. Who would have thought that a children's song could have such ominous connotations? Kinda puts me in mind of 'Ring Around the Rosie,' with its connections to the Black Plague. *Shivers*

The interactions between Sam and Bee were very well done, although that came as no surprise, considering your obvious talents. I look forward to the next chapter with white-knuckled anticipation!
