I absolutely love this. It feels like it's been forever waiting for this part, and it's totally worth it. I especially love the line "But he wouldn’t trade warm skin for larger hands, or a fluttering heartbeat for a familiar spark" -- it's one of those moments which makes me realize my own preconceptions and jars me out of them. Beautiful. And Wheeljack causing an explosion even while in stasis-locked landing protoform was, well... perfect.

Bumblebee needs lots of hugs and love and, frankly, I'm with everyone else in thinking that Ironhide doing the robotic equivalent of castrating Starscream with a dull spoon wouldn't be out of place either. ^_^

Everyone knows that if Wheeljack touched it, it will eventually (inexplicably) explode. ♥ As for Starscream, I thought we might let Optimus, Ironhide and Jazz take turns, one of them holding him down while the other two hit him. Then Ratchet can repair him, and they can do it again.

Yeah, I can see in the Autobot base and on the Ark when there was an explosion everyone freezed and if no security alarms fired up they'd mumble Wheeljack and go on about their business. XD lol!!!! I feel sorry for Starscream, I really do. He's so freaking messed up, even before Bee gave what was coming to him to even DARE try what he did, I can't help but feel pity. But that won't keep me from cheering the Autobots kick his AFT. >D

Ooh. I think you might have this fic confused with Flarn's lovely Pleasurebot series, written for the same prompt. In her universe, soldiers are only allowed to be intimate with comfort officers during times of war. In mine, conduits are more like sexual and emotional healers, available for anyone who needs them, but not required. In other words, intimate relationships aren't restricted in this universe, except in situations where a superior would be misusing his position

Wonderful story. Sam and Bee were very tender together. At first I was like, "oh no, not sex to fix rape." But it didn't turn out smutty or pr0n-y. It was very sweet and gentle and it felt right.

You are psychic, in fact. When I read your last comment, I sat there blinking for a moment, and then laughed and laughed. Actually, I suspect we're sharing a brain, since Wheeljack and Mirage are my favorite Autobots as well, along with Ratchet. I do have a thing for Mirage's voice. =D

No sex to fix rape. That's one of my pet peeves, too. Just sex out of love, and the realization that war makes life a tenuous and temporary thing. ♥

0.o That's so freaky! I was on the verge of saying Jazz is a fave of mine, up there with Wheeljack and Mirage, but it's the G1 Jazz that I loved and miss so much. 2007 Jazz was different and he didn't hit me the same way. I think i'm just getting old. I still try to hear Scatman Crothers in my head
