Is BeexSpike stuff allowed on here, if it doesn't refer too heavily to specific G1 events? Cuz I can kinda see BeexSam becoming similar in dynamic to BeexSpike after some more time together.

I ask cuz mecha_erotica is having their monthly challenge - "canon" pairings. And BB/Spike is one... and I've got a really persistent smut bunny that won't leave me alone.

I'm pretty sure we've already had a Spike/Bee posted, and it got decent reply. I don't know for sure what everyone wants - as this did get created for Bee/Sam - but from what I can tell, Sam was supposed to be Spike - and actually is him, other than the fact that they have different jobs.

So I don't think there's too much issue with it.

I get pretty pissed when people say Spike = Sam. It doesn't. Its a new movieverse and they are not the same! D:

But I won't complain, seeing as you know the difference (and are asking). :D

Sam is actually Spike. He's Spike in the movie continuity, as opposed to the G1 community. You could consider them... AU versions of each other, y'know?

Sorry.. I'm just stubborn about it. I don't like automatic comparisons of characters. ;_; Even though yes I do know that Sam is based off of Spike from the G1 continuity.

True, he isn't. However, that was the name used for his character in the original script, along with some of the early production info. Also, I believe there was a mention of him later earning the nickname Spike.

The problem with a fandom as huge as Transformers is that all the characters are usually related to another one from another continuity. It's a shame, but meh.

Yeah, my Spike/Bee fic wasn't boo'd off this site, so I guess it's okay :D Although I have to warn you, Spike/Bee isn't exactly canon beyond the fact that they're best friends >_> Although Bee cuddles him every other episode... I hug my best friends too ^_^

Spike and Sam are the same person. Different names. Actually, I heard they were gonna try to incorporate the nickname into TF2.
