I always wondered what those color 'wheels' were on packaging (look at your Wheat Thins box), and figured it was something to do w/the printing process. Here is the best answer I found from alt.usage.english

And this is why so many designers really need to develop relationships with printers and learn all of this so they can spot printing errors and know how to communicate with their printer. I considered working in a print house for a few months just so I could get that much more hands on knowledge. I had a printing teacher (still friend's with her and she's actually dating kemikal kidd) who worked at Primo Angelie as their print production coordinator. She was telling me about how many top designers there would send her RGB files for print and couldn't grasp the concept of why this is not acceptible and why it would create problems in the print process. You bothering to even look this info up for an answer puts you a few steps ahead of a LOT of designers...
Ha - no he's not and he really doesn't play out anymore, but it's a lot easier to refer to him as his old dj name. Otherwise people would be like - *who's fil?* And then I'd be like - he speaks Polish fluently, used to spin nrg under the name kemikalkidd, now plays house, and loves VW//Audi cars. I met up with Fabienne and Fil in Prague this summer. So random. =)
