lediva and I are taking a mini-vacation to Chicago this upcoming weekend. You guys know us. Anything in particular you recommend we do?

Don't know if you guys are foodies (I am, and want to go someday), but Alinea sounds completely amazing.

Actually, the only thing we have scheduled for the trip (and the official reason for making it) is a visit to Alinea. Took several hours calling the reservation line. :)

Dim sum brunch in Chinatown? Visit http://www.nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org/ (it's free!) Wander around Boystown (Clark & Belmont roughly) the shopping is fab, I recommend Ragstock.

Darn it, there was a really good, gay friendly, brunch place near Loyola. Damned if I can remember what it's called though.... I could probably still walk there. It's on the corner of a really big street.... Yeah. I know. Not. Helping. I'll let you know if it comes to me.
