Observations of Vincent/Yuffie and Red vs Blue

I'm working on the next chapter of "When a Tornado Meets a Volcano" and it's turning out to be rather lengthy. I'm not quite satisfied with it yet though; some parts may get heavily edited or rewritten entirely. It's pretty angsty so far though and the song that inspired it really comes into play in Yuffie and Vincent's interactions. So far I have

I know what you mean about being annoyed that people write Yuffie off as an annoyance. Yes, she does steal your materia, but it is no more morally wrong than blowing up a reactor or being a Turk or a spy. The only thing she does differently is she acts against the player.

I find her one of the more interesting characters, especially when paired with Vincent. I see them as being opposite in temperment rather than character.

Have you read any fics by lynn.reist, Rose Flame or T.Costa? They are some of my favourite authors. But yeah, VN got me into Yuffentine in the first place!

I also think that people tend to forget that Yuffie is young; she's 16 when they originally meet her so of course she's going to be a little more energetic than the rest.

You're right about the materia stealing; I'd never thought about it like that before. She is acting against the player and that makes some people mad; I just saw it as a challenge! Mwahaha!

I think Yuffie is one of the more interesting characters too and I'm hoping that if there is another game made that it would focus around her (or more like her and Vincent; kind of like DoC except with more fluffy and cute scenes xD). I think that Yuffie and Vincent are more alike than people think they are.

I have read fics by lynn.reist and T.Costa but I'm not recognizing Rose Flame. I'll have to go check out their stuff. Thanks for the links :)
