Final Divorce Post?

I signed the divorce decree three weeks ago and it was signed by a judge the following week. It wasn't a sad day, my main emotion was relief; but it also became an introspective day. I thought about the happy days. I thought about Sean and Kaleigh. I thought about the bad decisions we both made and the hurt we both caused. Hopefully in time ( Read more... )

What's even funnier is that you still retain ownership of the house...so I'm not sure that, even if Nancy had NOT given you permission, you could even be charged with trespassing.

I agree, I wasn't trespassing because I'm still 50% owner. However, I went back and read the wording of the decree. Without her permission I could probably be found in violation. "The Petitioner shall have as and for her sole and exclusive property the marital residence of the parties."

I hear ya. If there is one thing I wont do it's create a scene. I wont have an issue seeing them together, I'm polyamorous, I wouldn't have an issue seeing them together if we were still married.

I really do want to be able to get along with Jeff. Assuming he stays around, we are going to be seeing each other for at least the next 10 years. This is not starting well.
