One call at 04:00am found me awake enough that it didn’t count as a disturbance. Standard repair with a standard window - easily done.
Clivesdale took over at 08:00am and I haven’t looked back - wouldn’t turn into salt anyways.

Huh, the other two Big Buck's were in Michigan, with one being only a few miles from my workplace. It's now closed.

The MI closings were considered odd news here as well. Was the beer quality any good? I don't know what's kept the TX version alive since the quality has been marginal but the price has been cheap.

This whole effort must've been a corporate, "hey, it's a cool idea" thing.
The TX location never promoted well - so the brewpub might have been an afterthought.

Nope, not very good here either. There's one left in Gaylord, which is a vacation / touristy town, so it probably gets a bunch of summer business. The one in Auburn Hills is just in an odd location with a crap city (Pontiac) bordering it on one side, an interstate on the other, and just a few auto suppliers near by.

Thanks for saving me the trip to Uncle Buck's, had been wondering about 'em based on what I read on BA.

Ratebeer folks are going on a pubcrawl next weekend btw!

I saw that a couple of days ago and am shocked those trodglydytes are actually coming up to the surface.

At least we know where NOT to be next weekend.

Actually, I only know one of them as it looks to be a new crew.
One of the factors that I don't put together crawls any more is
that even when people do come out, there's little social skills given
the nature of the the beer website members -esp. RB but BA seems to
be the same now.

You're at an advantage here in that you're a participant that can
always cut out at any point.
