Headbanging Back to the 80’s Weekend

About six weeks ago, I found out that one of my favorite thrash bands from the early 80’s, Hirax,  was coming to Texas. Austin was the closest show [3 hr.drive] and with work being an onslaught, I didn’t know if I would get to see the show but things actually went my way for once through a light workload and telling everyone that I wasn’t available

The Hirax concert I went to in January might just have been one of the best concerts I've ever attended, actually, in regards to everything from stage presence to atmosphere, energy, musical legacy & merits, as well as their post-concert party-with-the-fans-dedication. Unfortunately, I wasn't really in the right frame of mind to enjoy them properly at the time (tooth ache, general exhaustion), and that still torments me to this very day, heh.
