I was wearing a full helmet (but don't think my head hit) and leather (thank heavens because I would have lost more skin). Oh no, that's awful. I'm glad it seems pretty minor, at least as far as motorcycle/scooter accidents can be. Here's hoping you have a speedy recovery.

And ultimately, I think that road rash is a pretty good excuse for calling off work.
