Cole wandered into the living room, because it had been about fifteen minutes since he'd last cuddled the babies and he was jonsing for a fix. "What are you doing?" he asked Sam, scooping up Peri.

"Shopping," Sam said, not looking up from his computer screen, but grinning nonetheless; Cole's addiction to baby-cuddling was amusing as hell. "Were you starting to get twitchy?"

"Shopping for what?" Cole asked, then protested, "Hey, I lasted a whole fifteen minutes!"

Sam laughed and tickled Thea's tummy with one finger. "Your Daddy's a big dork, isn't he?" He tilted his head as if he was listening, then solemnly informed Cole, "Thea says to tell you I'm thinking of buying a guitar."
