Cole was pacing and had been since Lilly left. He was still babbling about what they needed to buy or do before the baby arrived.

Sam's hand found Cole's, and he intertwined their fingers over Phoebe's stomach as he wrapped his other arm around her shoulders. "We're . . . oh, my gods, Phoebe . . . wow."

He'd thought it had sunk in earlier, but apparently it wasn't done yet.
