A quick, short post before I change my mind again;) At the end of last year, I had some not so fun encounters in fandom and it's been messing with my head. I decided not to post about it, which is very hard to do, but I think it's better for my state of mind. Hope to be up for organizing another round in the quicky_bang soonish.

Yes, I know there are TONS of fanfic I missed over the years. Bless your pinboard, which is perfect when I want something saucy \o/ and bless the fangirls on Twitter for sharing links to old and new treasures.

Oh I love that Clefink story, it was such an ingenious idea, and PM's art is a delight! If you enjoyed that one and haven't read clefink's other stories, I'd highly recommend them all.

Sorry fandom was being unpleasant, was this something to do with SMPC?

Yeah. In all the years I've been moderator, I've always aimed to be neutral in any of my comms and to focus on making fandom fun for all, but being the subject of conspiracy theories has made me suspicious of people's intentions. I hate feeling this way.

Ugh, I thought it might be that. Seriously there are some parts of fandom that have gone particularly extreme since the finale. And one of those people in the splinter group is a classic case. I was steering well clear because of that before I realised they'd splintered off because of you saying SMPC could be open to all ships. I mean. Well.

You too! Gosh, I can't believe how long it's been since I travelled. I was just thinking about the British Museum the other day when I was going through my souvenir snowglobe collection,haha!
